Beverly A. Foelker's Obituary
Beverly “Bev” A. Foelker, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 in her home at Chestnut Fields. Beverly was born in Muskegon, Michigan on October 29, 1929 to Casper J. and Trena (Wiersema) Mortivedt. On June 25, 1948 she married Howard A. Foelker. They had been married for 49 years when Howard passed away on July 8, 1997. They were the proud parents of Susan M. (Keith) Daby, Howard S. (Tamie) Foelker and Lorri A. (W. Kimball) Lemieux. Other survivors include her grandchildren, Matthew O. Daby, Ryan H. (Becky) Daby, Brielle (Franklin) Batino, Howard S. Foelker II and Sara M. (Jimmy) Hood; great-grandson, James K. Hood. Beverly also leaves behind many close and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard; her parents; sister, Dorothie M. Campbell and brother, Ted N. Mortivedt. Bev worked for Consumer’s Energy for many years until her retirement in January of 1990. A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Beverly will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 11:00 AM at The Walburn Chapel, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. (231-759-8565). VISITATION will be held an hour prior to the service. A private burial will take place in Lakeside Cemetery.
