Beverly Joyce Kendall's Obituary
In the early hours of March 30th Beverly Joyce (Munson) Kendall peacefully walked into heaven and into the arms of Jesus. Her faith was unshakable, no matter the situation she remained steadfast in the knowledge that God was in control. She was a prayer warrior and if you knew
her, she has prayed for you. She was the youngest daughter of Herbert and Vivian (Foote) Munson, born on October 15th, 1930 in Muskegon. In Her younger years her family owned and operated Sunset Cottages on Scenic Drive and she loved talking about the annual
visitors from Chicago and sleeping on the beach blanketed by the stars and listening to the lapping waves. Her love of Lake Michigan only grew over the years. She graduated in 1948 from North Muskegon High School and on September 15, 1951 married the love
of her life, Edward M Kendall, Jr. Together they had five children. Ted as he was called, succumbed to cancer in August of 1973. She carried on in faith and dignity. She was a lifelong member of Laketon Bethel Reformed Church where she taught Sunday School
for many years and was active in the women’s circle and guild. Her heart and home were open to anyone who had a need, many called her “Mom” and Grandma. Her survivors include daughter Cindy Kendall, and three sons: Edward (Cindy), Bruce (Lori) and Jimmy.

Young. Joseph Riley, Nathan Riley, Joshua (Holly) Riley and Robert Miller, Great Grandchildren: Jacob and April Bowlin, Finn and Benjamin Closz, William and Dean Geurne, Alexander Miller, Vivienne DeHaan and Haley Kendall. Nieces and nephews, David (Diane)
Munson, Marilyn (Roger) Johnson, Greg (Loretta) Munson, Mary Jane (Clark) Bingham, Terry (Mike) McIlrath, Kathy (Duane) Braddy and Roberta (Jon) Matthews. Very special friends Kim Lindsey Mahoney, Mary Gannon Salter and a host of cherished friends. She was
preceded in death by her parents, her in-laws Edward and Lucy Kendall, her daughter Luann Wierda, brother Herbert (Doris) Munson, sister, Maxine Talbott, sister in law Katherine Beaureguard, and nephew and niece Ty and Tanya Talbott. The family would like
to thank: Roosevelt Nursing Center, Meijer Heart Center Agape House and LifeCircles clinic especially Katherine Young M.D. and all of the other caring staff that Mom loved during her time spent in their care.
Due to the current COVID 19 pandemic, cremation has taken place and later this summer a graveside service will be held at Laketon Township Cemetery and in honor and her love of the annual summer picnic a memorial gathering at Snug Harbor (Muskegon) State Park. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to may make a donation to Life Circles at Tanglewood Senior Center.
