Beverly J. Parrott's Obituary
Mrs. Beverly J. Parrott, age 85, of Grand Haven passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018 at home. She was born July 22, 1932 in Benton Harbor to Chester and Gladys (Schuller) Bailey. On January 4, 1953 she married Ronald Parrott and he preceded her in death on October 1, 2005.
Beverly was an active member of the United Methodist Church of the Dunes. She enjoyed card making, meeting her friends for breakfast, water exercise and was a friend to all. Beverly was the playground attendant for many years at Peach Plains, and worked for community aid, before retiring from Lakeshore Anesthesiology. Her family was everything to her, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by two children, Martin (Ellen) Parrott of Spring Lake, Pamela (Richard) Suchecki of Nunica; three granddaughters: Michelle (Ian) Evans, Lydia and Emma Suchecki; four great-grandchildren: Logan Harris, Riley, Liam, and Brynlee Evans; two brothers, Bryce (Betty) Bailey, Beryl (MaryLee) Bailey; sisters-in-law, Alice Marie Ross, and Judy Parrott. Beverly was also survived by several cousins and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Danielle Parrott; brothers-in-law, John Ross, and Roger Parrott.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the United Methodist Church of the Dunes with Rev. Lou Grettenberger officiating. Visitation will take place after the service during the time of fellowship. Memorial contributions may be given to the Church of the Dunes or Hospice of North Ottawa Community.
