Beverly A. Pavlovic's Obituary
Beverly “Bev” Ann Pavlovic, age 91, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020. She was born January 20, 1929 in Muskegon to Lawrence and Myrtle (Longdorf) DeMars and was a lifelong resident of the area. On September 27, 1947, she married George Pavolvic at St. Michael Catholic Church in Brunswick, MI and he survives her. Bev worked as a sales clerk for Hardy-Herpolsheimer’s Department Store for 30 years and retired in 1985. She was a longtime member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Bev was a past board member for the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court #599 and had volunteered many hours for Muskegon County Right to Life. She enjoyed reading, home making, crafts and especially loved her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 73 years, George Pavlovic; 6 children, Kathy (Ronald) Mayo, Mark (Charmaine) Pavlovic, Cheryle (James) Schuiteman, Cindy Suchy, Mary (John) Gerldersma, George B. (Tami) Pavlovic; 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Joyce Griener; 3 brothers, Lawrence (Marlene) DeMars, Arthur (Cheryl) DeMars, and Michael DeMars. Bev was preceded in death by her 3-year old daughter, Jodi Lyn Pavlovic in 1973; 2 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and her parents. Due to gathering restrictions concerning COVID-19, Mass of Christian Burial will be held privately for family only with burial taking place at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
