Mrs. Beverly J. Primmer's Obituary
Mrs. Beverly J. Primmer, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2018. She was born on December 9, 1927 to Wilbur and Beatrice (Thompson) Springsdorf in Muskegon.
Bev graduated from Muskegon High School in 1946 and started working at American Coil Springs as a switchboard operator. She then changed her career path and worked as an admitting clerk at Hackley Hospital for 28 years. Bev enjoyed bowling, camping, and traveling the world with her family. She liked to play nickels, loved eating ice cream, and always danced to “Proud Mary”.
Bev will be lovingly missed by her children, David (Karen) Primmer, Marg (Don) DeBoef and Ken (Shondra) Primmer; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Shelly Primmer. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jeff Primmer; grandson, Christopher Todd DeBoef; and a brother and sister.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 27 at 2 PM at Samuel Lutheran Church, 540 Houston Ave, Muskegon, MI. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service from 1-2 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
