Beverly Ann Winters' Obituary
Beverly Ann Winters, affectionately known to her family and friends as “Boo-Boo” age 66, departed this life and entered eternal rest, on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. She was born to William and Velma (Martin) Winters on May 1, 1957, in Muskegon. Beverly was a member of Holy Trinity Church COGIC. She worked over 40 years for Consumers Energy in the JH Campbell Complex, West Olive MI. Her greatest love was spending time with her family, it was very important to her to keep the family together. She also loved to travel, shop and dance. Traveling was also a joy to her, which included going to Ross Department Stores. She would make it a point to go to Ross Stores in any city she would visit. She also loved to dance, even if that meant she had to dance alone, she was always the life of the party. SURVIVORS include three children, Terrell Winters, Tara (Kevin) Meeks and Xavier McCarty; 16 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, James Winters; sisters, Sandra (Kenneth) Jordan, Christine Cunningham, Jean Levy; special childhood friends which they remained close, Karen Cross, Jeanette McKinley, Anette Stuckey, Cynthia Fletcher, Pat Todd and Vanessa Miller. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents Velma and William Winters, sister, Emma Courtney and brother, Larry Winters. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held, 12:00 noon, Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Holy Trinity Church COGIC (2140 Valley St.) with Pastor Scotty McKinley officiating. VISITATION will be held 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Friday, January 26, 2024, at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 737 Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442 and an hour prior to the service at church from 11:00am to 12noon.
