Beverly J. "Betty" Poulson's Obituary
Mrs. Beverly J. “Betty” Poulson, age 76, peacefully passed away at her home Tuesday afternoon, September 26, 2006 following a lengthy illness. She was born February 25, 1930 in Muskegon to Frederick and Ida (Carlson) Schultz and lived in the area her entire life. In 1950, she married Quintin B. Poulson in Muskegon. He preceded her in death in 1994. Betty was a volunteer for many years at The Clothes Closet. SURVIVORS include her children, James Poulson, Randy Poulson, Cynthia (Paul) VandenBosch, Michelle (Edward) Tennison; grandchildren, Erik Gallimore, Matthew (Kelly) Tennison, Justin, Danielle and Nathan Tennison; great-grandchildren, Brooke and Ethan Tennison. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jennifer Poulson, her parents, and brother, Robert Schultz. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 1:00 PM Friday, September 29, 2006 at The Sytsema Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Avenue, (231) 726-5210. VISITATION will be held one hour prior to the service, 12-1 PM Friday. INTERMENT will take place at Lakeside Cemetery. The family wished to acknowledge Hackley Visiting Nurse Services and Hospice, Inc. for the care and compassion given to Betty over the past 6 years.
