My parents-Levi and Betty (Giles) Jourden were friends of Bev and Judd's. I have many memories of them visiting together over the years and my Mom talking about the good times they had when they were growing up. I always enjoyed her laughter. She will be remembered.

I wanted to extend my sympathies to your family on the death of your Aunt and Sister. Due to an illness, I was unable to attend the visitation. I had the pleasure of assisting Bev with her banking needs for nearly 20 years. The last time she came in to see me, she said she wanted me to know that she was dying and that she did not want me to just read it in the paper. I gave her a hug and said that I just could not say "good-bye" to her so I would say "see ya later". My mother, Mickey (Maxine) Flood, is not feeling well and will not be able to attend the memorial. We send our deepest sympathy. We all loved Bev and she will be truly missed.

My parents, Ed & Edna DeVries, were friends of Bev & Jud for many, many years. I have such fond memories of them both, and remember the minnows at the Causeway bait shop very well, and I always admired their old cars. They even stopped in St. Joseph after my parents moved here (they moved to assisted living here in 1997) and it was so nice to see them. That was the last time I saw Jud, but we were able to see Bev again a couple of times. The last time was at my mom's memorial service in Musekgon in May of 2006. I am sorry to hear that she passed away.
