Mr. Blake L Parsons' Obituary
Blake Leroy Parsons, age 59, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2015 after a 9 year battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Blake was born on August 6, 1956. He worked as a boat mechanic at Halls Sport Center for 30 years and as a manager of Keith’s Wesco for 30 years. Blake was blessed with 4 children. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, and his many pets. He was a helpful, caring, hardworking family man who will be deeply missed. Blake is survived by his wife, Sheryl; children, Nicole (Ben) Nagy; William (Joyce) Parsons; Arthur (Jen) Fraly and Crystal (David) Blair; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Betty Carrow. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 11 AM on Monday, August 17, 2015 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100. VISITATION will be held one hour prior to the start of the service. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
