Blanche A. Bird's Obituary
Mrs. Blanche A. Bird, age 85, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2007. She was born February 13, 1922 in Muskegon to Gordon and Maude (Crooks) Pearce and lived in the area her entire life. Prior to her retirement in 1978, she worked 43 years as an inspector for Teledyne Continental Motors and then volunteered for the Nelson Neighborhood Association. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Post #8846, enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing ball with her kids. SURVIVORS include 3 children, Jerry (Shirley) Cunningham of Muskegon, Sharon (Frank) Tucker of Arizona, Ruth Richardson of Muskegon; 1 step-daughter-in-law, Terrie Bird and Roger Bird of Muskegon; 6 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; and 1 sister, Ellen Cutler of Muskegon. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister, Ninabelle Arbogast, 1 brother, Robert Pearce. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Monday, February 26, 2007 at The Walburn Chapel.
