Blanche I. Todd's Obituary
Mrs. Blanche I. Todd, age 74, passed away Friday, October 17, 2008 at a local hospital. Blanche was born November 6, 1933 to Charles and Margaret (Gagnon) Beegle in Muskegon and was a life resident of the area. On February 6, 1953, she married Claude A. Todd and he preceded her in death on January 18, 1991. Blanche, along with her husband, owned and operated Dalton Home and Hardware for many years. She attended Central Assembly of God Church and enjoyed crafts, shopping, puzzles, reading, knitting and bowling. She is survived by her children, Claude “Chip” (Linda) Todd and Wanda Todd; 1 brother, Monte (Madilyn) Beegle; 5 sisters, Audrey Thompson, Carol (Lester) Beals, Delores Strait, Cathy (Wayne) Cory and Nancy (John) Tagney; and her beloved cats, Leo and Samantha. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at The Sytsema Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Avenue 231 726-5210 with Rev. Gerald Poehl officiating. Burial will be in Dalton Township Cemetery. VISITATION will be 6-8 PM Monday. Memorial contributions in Mrs. Todd’s name may be made to Noah Project.
