Blanche June Rose Broman's Obituary
Blanche June Rose Broman, age 101, of Ocala, Florida, and formerly of Spring Lake passed away Friday, December 12, 2008, in Florida. She was born June 13, 1907, in Chicago, IL, to John and Elvira (Holtman) Berger, and she married Clarence R. Broman in May 1937 in Chicago. He preceded her in death in February 1968.
Mrs. Broman was a member of Spring Lake Presbyterian Church, Spring Lake Country Club and she enjoyed swimming, golf, bowling and being involved in church activities.
She is survived by a daughter, Pamela Fair of Ocala, FL; a son, Rodney (Julie) Broman of Grand Rapids; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Her four sisters, Florence Marshall, Violet Bergstedt, Patricia Crowley and Myrtle Thompson, and two brothers James Berger and Leonard Berger, predeceased her.
A memorial service for Blanchewill be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at Spring Lake Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Daniel Anderson officiating. Friends are invited to meet the family prior to and immediately following the service at church. Interment will be in Spring Lake Cemetery.
