Bonnie L. Dubson's Obituary
Bonnie L. Dubson, aged 87, died on Sunday January 31, 2021 in Grand Haven, MI, a resident of MediLodge at the Shore. Born on May 26, 1933, in Carlisle, Iowa the daughter of Raymond Elroy and Lela Ruby (Houseman) Calkins, Bonnie was seventh of eight children and the last remaining child.
Bonnie was married to William Russell Tilden of Des Moines, Iowa and they lived in Muskegon and Fruitport until his unexpected death in 1955. Bonnie later married Joseph W. Dubson, Jr. and they lived in Muskegon until his death in 1984.
Bonnie was a homemaker, enjoying many family gatherings and socializing with friends and neighbors. She worked for Spring Lake Country Club. A local cleaning company and area nursing homes. She was a volunteer for the Grand Haven Salvation Army and enjoyed gardening.
She is survived by her sons: Russell D. Tilden Sr. (Laurie), Jon E. Tilden (Judy) and Daniel A. Dubson (Cindy) and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers: William, Lester, Leslie, Delbert, Marvin and her sisters, Millie and Mary.
Bonnie was under the care of Hospice of North Ottawa Community who also provided care for Bonnie at MediLodge. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of North Ottawa Community at 1061 S Beacon Blvd Suite 200, Grand Haven, MI 49417.
According to her wishes, cremation is taking place. Due to the COVID Pandemic, no services will be held at this time. A family memorial will be scheduled later in the year.
