Bonnie Lou Rader's Obituary
Bonnie Lou Rader, age 70, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2023. She was born December 12, 1952, MI to Emery and Natalie (Fahaling) Budnik. Bonnie graduated from Muskegon Heights High School in 1971 and worked for the State of Michigan Department of Corrections as a corrections officer for 25 years prior to her retirement in 2008. On November 24, 1973, she married the love of her life, Dennis Paul Rader Sr., in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on February 27, 2023. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, bird watching, and feeding the turkeys. She also liked to watch YouTube, play games, and read on her iPad which was always by her side. But most importantly, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. Bonnie will be missed by many. SURVIVORS include two sons: Dennis Paul Rader Jr. of Muskegon and Michael (Doreen) Rader of Muskegon; five grandchildren: Madison, Haydyn, Hunter, Kayla, and Trey Rader; brother, Ken (Sandy) Budnik; sister-in-law, Wanda Budnik; aunt, Cristine Kantola; nephews: Derek, Dylan, Tyler, Scott, and Ricky; and nieces: Nathalie, Kimberly, and Sherry. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John Budnik. According to Bonnie’s wishes, there will be no services. MEMORIALS to the American Cancer Society will be appreciated.
