Bonnie Jean Sweet's Obituary
Mrs. Bonnie Jean Sweet, 79, passed away Friday, October 6, 2023, in Muskegon. She was born February 1, 1944, to Ernest and Louise (Meyer) Borgeson in Muskegon and was a lifelong resident. Bonnie was a wonderful homemaker, enjoyed cooking, going to the casino, and camping. On July 6, 1963, she married Steven A. Sweet, and they enjoyed 60 years of marriage. Survivors include her husband, Steven; three sons: Jeffrey Scott Sweet, Steven Keith Sweet, Kelly Andrew Sweet; two grandsons: Austin and Jackson Sweet. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her daughter Amy Lynn Sweet, her sister Arlene Britton, and two brothers Don and Paul Borgeson. At this time there will be no services. Burial will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Sweet may be made to the VFW Women’s Auxiliary Post #6898 in Fremont. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 737 E. Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442.
