Brad Foster's Obituary
Brad Foster, age 42, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2011, following a courageous battle with cancer. Brad was born January 5, 1969 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Morris M. and Pam S. (Eder) Foster. He is a graduate of the University of Tampa. On August 16, 1997 he married the former Sherrie VanderWall and she survives him. Brad was a supervisor for Frontier Communications (formerly Verizon) and prior to that he worked with Churchill Communications, West Marine, and Sports Fisherman. He was a member of Laketon Bethel Reformed Church as well as Ducks Unlimited. Brad enjoyed camping , especially building campfires. He loved spending time with his boys and beloved dogs, fishing, hunting and reading. He was also active with his boys in Cub Scouts. Brad was a wonderful cook who enjoyed watching a good “C.O.P.S” episode on TV. In addition to his wife Sherrie, he is survived by his 2 boys, Aaron Foster and Sage Foster; his niece, Haley VanderWall; his Parents, Mike and Pam Foster; his brother, Brian (Angel) Foster; and several more nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. THE FUNERAL SERVICE will be 3:00 PM Friday, December 30, 2011 at Laketon Bethel Reformed Church (1568 W. Giles Rd) with Rev. Sherwin Brantsen officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service (2-3 PM) at the church. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to Ducks Unlimited or the Melanoma Research Foundation. Burial will be made in Laketon Township.
