Bradley J. "BJ" Vandewater's Obituary
Bradley J. “BJ” Vandewater, age 41, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 27, 2021 in Muskegon. He was born July 20, 1979 in Muskegon to Gary and Betty (Palmer) Vandewater. BJ was a 1998 graduate of North Muskegon High School and earned a certificate in Culinary Arts from Baker College. He was an avid outdoorsman, especially hunting and fishing, and belonged to the Muskegon Conservation Club. He was a farmer who loved living off the land and owned a certified Natural Farm “Mountain Hill Farms”. BJ loved to cook and was a fun loving, big friendly giant with lots of friends. SURVIVORS include his mother, Betty Vandewater of North Muskegon; brother, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Vandewater of Muskegon; 3 nephews: Theodore, Cameron, and Felix Vandewater; his significant other, Mia Ramos; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Vandewater and grandparents. A public visitation with the family will be held from 6-8 PM on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 737 Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442 (231) 726-5210. Please note, due to COVID-19 restrictions, only 25 family members and guests will be allowed in the building at one time, so as to allow others to enter the building, please be considerate with your time spent with the family.
