Brandon M. Thedorff's Obituary
Brandon Michael Thedorff, age 28, beloved son and brother, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, December 10, 2022 at his home in Grand Rapids. He was born October 7, 1994 in Muskegon to Trevor and Shannon (Schaefer) Thedorff. Brandon graduated with honors from Fruitport High School in 2013. He then attended Muskegon Community College where he received his Associates Degree and was currently enrolled at Grand Valley State University pursuing his Bachelors Degree in Computer Science. Brandon had been working and doing an internship as an Access Control Coordinator for EPS Security in Grand Rapids. He loved what he was doing and had a passion for computers and learning all the intricacies involved with them. Brandon had a love for life; he loved the beach (where he always got sunburned), driving around in his Jeep Wrangler, and loved his grandfather’s root beer floats. He was an awesome person and will be missed by many. SURVIVORS include his parents: Trevor and Shannon Thedorff of Muskegon; brothers: Joshua Thedorff of Grand Haven and Tyler Thedorff of Muskegon; grandparents: Bill and Peggy Schaefer of Muskegon; grandmother, Carole Thedorff-Kolberg of Muskegon; future fiancée, Taylor Marie Alvesteffer of Grand Rapids; aunt and uncle: Martha (Craig) Wasen and their children, Madison, Brady, and Travis of Livonia, MI; uncle, Todd Thedorff of Muskegon; uncle and aunt: Troy (Tammy) Thedorff and their son, Trenton of Muskegon; and many other extended family members. Brandon was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kim Kolberg; aunt, Pam Brouhard; and his beloved boxer, Halo. A CELEBRATION of Brandon’s LIFE will be held 11:00 AM Monday, December 19, 2022 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444 (231) 798-1100. VISITATION with the family will be from 5-8 PM Sunday, December 18, 2022 at the funeral home.
