Brandon J. Heykoop's Obituary
Brandon J. Heykoop, age 16, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, November 2, 2008 as the result of an automobile accident. Brandon was born January 13, 1992 to John E. Jr. and Jennifer L. (Bray) Heykoop in Jacksonville, NC and lived most of his life in the Muskegon area. He was a student at Oakridge High School. Brandon enjoyed playing baseball, golfing, hunting, and being with his friends. He is survived by his dad, John Heykoop, Jr. of Muskegon; his mom and step-dad, Jennifer (Larry) Porter of Muskegon; 2 sisters, Sydney Heykoop and Miley Porter; 1 step-sister, Carlee Porter; maternal grandparents, Patricia and Michael Bray of Muskegon; paternal grandparents, John Heykoop of Caledonia, Joyce and Vern Hollowell of Muskegon; special grandma, Darlene Craner of Hesperia; aunts, Shelly (Kenneth) VanHall of Grand Rapids, Kelly Heykoop of Chicago, Joy Heykoop of Muskegon; friend and cousin, Kaleb Bray. He was preceded in death by his uncle Michael Bray, Jr. 9 years ago. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Friday at St. Thomas Catholic Church, 3252 Apple Ave., with the Rev. Fr. Michael Olson officiating. Burial will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION at
