Brandon Scott Rotz's Obituary
Brandon Scott Rotz, age 28, of Warren, MI, and formerly of Grand Haven passed away unexpectedly Saturday, May 31, 2008, in Saugatuck. He was born September 11, 1979, in Grand Haven to Jeffrey and Patricia (Wheaton) Rotz and was a 1998 graduate of Grand Haven High School.
Brandon was a member of The Church of the Divine Child in Dearborn, MI, and was employed as an assistant manager at Cheli’s Chili Bar in Detroit. An enthusiastic sports fan, Brandon enjoyed playing soccer during his high school years. He also enjoyed golfing and bowling, and he loved to cook. He was engaged to be married to the love of his life, Melissa Kuznar, on June 14, 2008.
He is survived by his fiancée, Melissa Kuznar of Warren, MI; his parents, Jeffrey and Patricia Rotz of Grand Haven; his brother, Kiel Rotz, currently of South Korea; his grandparents, Lavern and Mary Wheaton of Grand Haven and Lloyd and Marlene Rotz of Spring Lake; and ten aunts and uncles: Glenn and Shari Sigsby of Grand Haven, John and Sandi Ryke of Spring Lake, Rob and Christy Reynolds of Bloomfield Hills, Steve and Darcee Rotz of Portland, OR, and Paul and Meg Wheaton of Chicago, IL.
The service for Brandon will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 6, 2008, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Grand Haven with Rev. William Langlois and Rev. Daniel Anderson officiating. Friends may meet the family 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 5, at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven. Interment will be in Lakeshore Cemetery.
