Mrs. Brenda Lee Davis' Obituary
Mrs. Brenda Lee Davis, age 50 passed away Sunday morning, March 24, 2013, following a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her family at home. Brenda was born August 29, 1962 to Worth and Jeanette (Stevens) Bennett in Muskegon and has been a life long resident of this area. On September 13, 1980, Brenda married Kenneth A. Davis and he survives her. Brenda worked for more than 20 years as a physical therapy assistant for Agility Health. She was a very active member of her church, Essential Life Ministries. Brenda lived for her church and her grandkids. She enjoyed camping and the spring break trips to Florida with her kids and grandkids. Most important was her faith and her family, who will miss her dearly. In addition to her loving husband of 32 years, Ken, Brenda is survived by her children, Lindsay (Mark) Schohl and Holly (Brett) Whalen all of Muskegon; her parents, Worth and Jeanette Bennett; step children, Jackie (Mark) Alexander of EastPointe, MI and Angie (Josh) King of Orlando, FL; 6 grandchildren, and one on the way; a brother, Danny Puckett of Muskegon; 3 sisters, Becky (Nick) Carmean of Muskegon, Luann (Dennis) Jones of Muskegon, and Wendy Bennett of Lansing; and many nieces and nephews. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Thursday March 28, 2013 at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100 with Pastor Mark VanHook officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm and one hour prior to the service (10-11am) Thursday. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made Essential Life Ministries.
