Brendan Scott Hogan's Obituary
Brendan Scott Hogan, age 7, of Spring Lake passed away Friday, August 13, 2010 at his home. Brendan was born on December 16, 2002 in Grand Rapids, MI to Scott W. and Krista R. (Lungaro) Hogan.
Brendan attended Jeffers Elementary School in Spring Lake. He loved his teachers and classmates and just finished the First Grade. He attended the Spring Lake Wesleyan Church and enjoyed hockey, family, friends, and his puppies, “Shadow” and “Cody”. Brendan inspired many around the world with his courage and faith.
Brendan will be forever loved and missed by his parents, Krista and Scott Hogan; a sister, Skylar, and a brother, Keaton Hogan; grandparents, Dominick Lungaro of Spring Lake; Roberta (Barry) Miller of Pentwater; Frank Hogan of Sarasota, FL; and Sally Hogan of Carmel, IN; also numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The service for Brendan will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Spring Lake Wesleyan Church with Rev. Peter Yoshonis officiating. Friends may meet the family 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 17, at the VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at church. Interment will be at Spring Lake Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Brendan’s name may be made to the Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Pediatric Oncology Resource Team. (P.O.R.T.)
