I just found out about Brian, I wish I would have known because I thought about him often. He was a great boss and a true friend. We had many a time when we would do things together and still work together keeping up the city and cemetery of montague. My heart goes out to you and your family. Brian will always be remembered in my heart. Prayers and wounderful thoughts of my time with brian and you. You both are missed.

I am an old friend of Brains as well as Laurie Dawsons sister.. my name is Alison. I am so sorry . Losing a love one is so hard and with Cancer it is hard to watch and do what you can and it is never enough. I met him when I was about 8 and with his brother Scott and the Dawson's we would swim in the creek betwen the houses and later in life snowmobiling. Brain was quieter than Scott but he was always smiling and so very nice. Their Grandma did a great job raising them. My prayers are with you and your family.
I just heard about Brian's passing tonight. Unfortunately is it is too late to go to the visitation. I remember and appreciate the time Chris, Brian, and I rode bicycles to the Mackinac Bridge. Thats what Brian wanted to talk about when I saw him two months ago. Even then he was so positive and full of optimism. That is how I remember Brian; always with a smile and a kind thing to say. A helper, a do-er, always looking for the next thing to be done. We'll miss you Brian.

Our deepest sympathy goes to you and your family. Ever since I was little I remember you and Brian being at open houses, weddings, and other gatherings that my family was at. He was such a character, and always seemed to make others around him laugh and smile. I know Melanie and I are both glad that we knew him. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers during this time.

My sincere sympathy to you all. This really hits home. Brian was my "twin" as we would joke. Born in Shelby Hospital the same day. I will remember him fondly every birthday. Who could have predicted something like this could take down Brian. He was so strong and at the very least coulda'/ shoulda' talked his way out of cancer. (hope you laughed). He loved his family. Prayers for comfort for your family. He IS feeling better now. He was one of a kind and will be missed my many. I have a bad cold or I would be there to give you all hugs. You're in my prayers.
