Brian Edward Fisher's Obituary
Brian Edward Fisher, age 59, passed away very suddenly on Sunday, March 1, 2026 while on his favorite annual vacation with his wife, Lita, at Bahia Principe Resort, Mexico – where they were making their 18th trip. Brian was born March 21, 1966 in Muskegon, MI to Wade and Sandra Fisher and lived his entire life in the area. Brian met the love of his life on a blind date and on July 17, 1993, he married Lita Lynn Puffer in Muskegon. He earned his associate’s degree from Muskegon Community College and his bachelor's degree in Industrial Education from Western Michigan University. Brian worked many long hours as the General Manager for Midas where he has been the past 35 years – a special place where the customers loved him and where he always had a hot cup of coffee ready. He was a member of Laketon-Bethel Reformed Church. He was also a member of the Lithuanian Club, the Muskegon Eagle’s #668, and the H.O.G. (Harley Owner’s Group). Brian also enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson bike, taking camping trips with his friends, and especially spending time with his family and friends. He was the best papa to his grandson and a great father to his children. Survivors include his loving wife, Lita Fisher; 3 children, Brian Scott (Ashley) Bonebrake II, Justin Leigh Bonebrake, Brittany Rosalita Fisher; his grandson, Maxwell Scott Bonebrake; his sister who he just discovered for the first time in 2024, Jessica (Shawn) Bethers; his father-in-law, Rick (Juli) Puffer; his mother-in-law, Rosalie Haas; 5 sisters-in-law, Tina (David) Cariker, Karina Ulfsax, Shannon (David) Boothroyd, Richell Reed, Shiloh Scott; many nieces and nephews; and his special miniature schnauzer, Luna. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wade and Sandra Fisher. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, March 13, 2026 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey Street, Norton Shores, MI 49444, with Rev. Dr. Sherwin Brantsen officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
