Brian Wesley Fodrocy's Obituary
Brian Wesley Fodrocy aged 62 of North Muskegon passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022. Brian was born on May 1, 1959 in Muskegon, the son of Wesley L. and Audrey M. (Ryan) Fodrocy, and graduated from Muskegon Oakridge High School with the class of 1977. On July 5, 2006, he married Michelle Ann Bridges in Muskegon and they have celebrated 15 years together.
Brian was a painter by trade and has painted homes and businesses throughout the Muskegon area for over 30 years, often with his brother-in-law Don Lockhart. He loved to spend time on local rivers, lakes and trips to Lake Erie fishing for trout and walleye, venturing out into the woods hunting, and always enjoyed going horseback riding. He was preceded in death by his father Wesley Fodrocy, and his Stepdaughter Samantha Thomas Brown.
Brian will be greatly missed by his wife Michelle; his daughter Samantha Fodrocy of Whitehall and her children Ethan, McKenna, and Braxton; his mother Audrey Fodrocy of Muskegon; his sister Patricia (Don) Lockhart of Rothbury; his brother Michael Fodrocy of Fremont; his nephews Tripper Marvin of Ferry, Michael Marvin and Jonathan Isaiah Marvin both of Montague; 10 step grandchildren and 5 great-step grandchildren; his uncle George (Jeanne) Fodrocy of North Muskegon; and his longtime best friend Tammy Jones also of North Muskegon.
A ceremony to celebrate Brian's life will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 26 at Throop Funeral Home in Ravenna. Friends may meet with his family prior to the service from 2:00-3:00 pm at the funeral home. Those who wish to remember Brian with a memorial donation are asked to please consider his family to assist with expenses.
