Brian Lee Jensen's Obituary
Brian Lee Jensen, age 54 passed away on Friday morning February 24, 2023. He was born in Muskegon, MI on May 10, 1968 to Leora/Lee (D’Avignon) and David Jensen and spent most of his life in Muskegon. Brian graduated from Mona Shores High School and Muskegon Community College. He was a long-time member of the Viking’s Lodge. He worked for many years at Quality Tool and Stamping.
Brian was always the life of the party and the funniest guy at the campfire. His sarcasm and endless impressions around the campfire were second to none. The belly aches and happy tears of laughter he brought to everyone will never be forgotten. He grew up spending summers on the water and hanging out at the beaches of West Michigan.
Brian was a collector of many things; books, music, clothes and artwork, he always had the best. He loved going to live concerts and professional sporting events with friends and family. You always knew that Brian had been by because of the unique trinkets he would leave behind for you to discover later- his “calling card”.
His favorite times were spent with friends and family. Pub Pedal(s), “Man’s Weekend” up north, Jensen weekend at the Bramer cottage, Bloody Mary Sunday’s and U of M vs MSU football with the D’Avignon crew, to name a few.
Brian is survived by many, many loving friends and family members; his parents, Lee and David Jensen, his brother Eric (Kelly) Jensen and brother-in-law Todd (Kim) Bramer. He had five loving nieces and nephews: Lindsey and Ryan Bramer and Emme, Greer and Allie Jensen. He is also survived by three (brotha and sistas from anotha motha); Bert (Jodi) D’Avignon, Sue (Dan) Ek and Sandy Ferris. He deeply mourned the loss of his sister and mentor Dee Bramer in 2004.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Vikings Lodge #57 Scholarship Fund. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date (possibly serving potted meat) …and that’s all I have to say about that.
Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services is honored to be serving the Jensen family at The Lee Chapel, 6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI 49444. Visit Brian’s memorial page online at www.sytsemafh.com
