Brian "Mitch" Mitchell's Obituary
Mr. Brian “Mitch” Mitchell II, age 25, of Grand Haven passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Rapids. He was born March 26, 1989 in Grand Haven to his parents, Brian Mitchell I and Sarah Lewis and has lived between Holland and Grand Haven all of his life.
Mitch was a loved man with the biggest heart and he will be greatly missed by all. He was an avid disc golf fanatic and competed in many leagues and competitions along the lakeshore. He looked forward to fall football and rooting for the MSU Spartans and the Green Bay Packers. He loved food, signing karaoke, poker and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his parents: Sarah (Fuzz) Lewis of Grand Haven and Brian (Julie) Mitchell of Holland; brother, Joseph Mitchell; sisters, Victoria and Alexis Lewis; step-brother, Aaron Bloomfield; grandparents: Linda and Vic Zimonick, Butch and Terri Mitchell, Ernest and Barbara Lewis, Harold and Cindi Rhodes; great-grandmothers, Beulah Ritchie, Della Rhodes and Ida Mae Mollett. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends - “framily”.
Funeral Services for Mitch will be 11:00 AM Saturday, October 25, 2014 at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven with Pastor Gregory Roberts officiating. Visitation will be held 1-3 and 6-8 PM on Friday, October 24, at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Lake Forest Cemetery.
