Marlies, Miranda and Brad,
Words cannot convey how sorry we are for you all in the passing of Brian (to us fondly known as Neighbor Brian). We are honored and blessed to have known him and we will never forget the kindness he had shown us. I recall being out of town and David was stuck at the Canadian border and couldn’t get home in time to meet the girls after school. Brian didn’t hesitate in heading over next door to ensure they were OK. Andrew recalls being invited on a hunting trip where he and David spent a few days with (Neighbor) Brian and one of Brian’s friends at their cabin. Andrew remembers how much fun he had – even after he and David got lost in the woods…LOL. I remember often when David would head out to cut the grass and after an hour or so I’d wonder “why don’t I hear the lawn mower running?” – then I’d look into the backyard only to find he and Brian chatting over the backyard fence. These are just a few of the wonderful memories we have of Brian and we’re certain he’s touched others’ lives in a similar way - with his smile and kind-heartedness. Although you’ve lost a loved one here on earth, you have gained an angel in heaven that will watch over you forever. May God give him eternal rest and may he bless you and give you strength. Our most sincerest condolences, Taia, David, Emily, Abby & Andrew
