Brian A. St. Amour's Obituary
Brian A. St. Amour, age 62, met his Lord and Savior Sunday, August 15, 2021, at home. He was born on November 5, 1958, to Arthur and Lastenia (Lasso) St. Amour in Muskegon, MI. He was a faithful servant of his Lord and a dedicated member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Brian was also a well-educated man; he received his bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University and continued to receive his master’s degree in business from Capella University. On August 28, 2008, he married the former Lee Ann Skeba in Muskegon, MI. Together they cherished 12 years of marriage full of love and laughter. Brian was a dedicated employee of Nugent Sand Co. Inc, where he worked his way up to materials management control for over 20 years. Brian was a true outdoors man, he enjoyed bird watching, camping, and a warm campfire accompanied with a cold brew. He and Lee Ann enjoyed taking walks especially by the Muskegon channel which was their favorite spot. Brian was also a talented woodworker and took pride in keeping himself healthy with weightlifting. Above all things, he truly loved his family and spending time with them. He had a heart of gold and was known for his generosity and selflessness. His tender-loving and valiant spirit will truly be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife, Lee Ann St. Amour; 6 children, Samantha (Roy) Shafer Sr., Gabriel St. Amour, Ethan St. Amour, Allyson St. Amour, Kimberly Berry and John Berry; 4 grandchildren, Roy Shafer Jr., Alexia Shafer, Daxton Shafer and Teagan Berry; 2 sisters, Julie (Rick) Puffer and Sue Walker; 2 brothers, Michael (Bonnie) St. Amour and Paul (Nancy) St. Amour; father, Arthur St. Amour; stepmother, Kathleen St. Amour; second family at Nugent Sand Co. Inc; and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lastenia St. Amour; first-wife, Linda St. Amour; and brother, Patrick St. Amour. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at 11:00 AM at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. A visitation with the family will be held one-hour prior.
