Brian Lee Hekkema's Obituary
Mr. Brian Lee Hekkema, age 50, passed away Sunday afternoon, July 17, 2011. He was born in Fremont on March 13, 1961. Brian was a 1980 graduate of Orchard View High School and was a member of Northside Bible Church. He was an avid Tiger fan, enjoyed playing video games, and telling jokes. SURVIVORS include his mother, Marilyn (James) Hower of Twin Lake; sister, Sheryl (Michael) Korstanje of Muskegon; 2 brothers, Robert J. (Brenda) Hekkema of Twin Lake, Jeffery (Sue) Hekkema of Muskegon; several nieces and nephews; and grandmother, Rosella Hower of Grand Haven. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Thursday at Northside Bible Church with Rev. Lowell Wood officiating. Burial will take place in Twin Lake Cemetery. VISITATION with the family will be from 5-8 PM Wednesday at The Sytsema Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. (231) 726-5210.
