Eric always prefaced Brian's name with "my friend" Brian; and when I met him, he 'instantly' became my friend, too. His sense of humor and, ultimately, his strength of character and dedication to country, community, family and friends will never be forgotten. The box I made for Brian (for his vast collection) has become a 'treasured' box . Only Brian could think of giving 'honor' to my life through his death. From bikes around the ovals to forts in the dunes to swimming at the sand docks, I had the pleasure of growing up with Brian a long time ago and also the pleasure to visit with him at the Vets club last year and relive those memories. Brian was my boss for about six months
back in 1996. He was both fun-loving and serious about getting the job done.
We both enjoyed our deer hunting stories and "up north" cabin stories.
