Britten Beverly Papaw's Obituary
Britten Beverly (Papaw), age 88, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, July 9, 2021. He was born on November 24, 1932 to Richard and Dora (Reynolds) Beverly in DeWitt, KY. Britten worked 40 years at the paper mill in Muskegon retiring as assistant color man in 1994. He enjoyed gardening, time spent with his family and trips to Las Vegas in his free time. On November 10, 1951 he married Gladys Gray and she preceded him in death in 1986. SURVIVORS include his son, John Beverly; grandchildren, Michael (Heather) Visscher and Nicholas Visscher; great-grandchildren, Banyan Visscher and Harper Visscher and sister, Viola Lewis. Britten was also preceded in death by his parents, his son, Jerry Beverly, daughters, Kathy Visscher and Shirley Beverly and numerous brothers and sisters. FUNERAL SERVICES for Britten will be held 1:00 pm Friday, July 16, 2021 at the Arjay Pentecostal Church and VISITATION with the family will take place the evening prior from 4pm to 7pm at church. Service arrangements handled by, Arnett and Steele Funeral Home, Inc. in Pineville, KY. Burial will be at the Beverly Family Cemetery. Share memories with the family at www.sytsemafh.com.
