Bronwyn Lane Radel's Obituary
Mr. Bronwyn Lane Radel, age 69, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021 at his home. He was born on October 29, 1952 to Hector and Dawn (Niesen) Radel in Muskegon. Bron enlisted in the United States Marine Corps when he was 17 years old and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. After being Honorable Discharged, Bron returned to Muskegon where he married the former Susan Streeting on March 4, 1978. Bron was a hard-working man who did what he needed to make sure his family was taken of. He was someone who could always be counted on. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, walking trails to look for arrowheads and hunting. Bron was an avid Harley-Davidson rider and spent many days riding with his wife, children, and friends. Bron and Susan liked to travel across the United States, Bron’s favorite spot to go was out west in the mountains. His great sense of humor, goofy jokes and witty quips will be missed by his family, especially his two grandchildren, who Bron simply adored and loved dearly. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed by his wife of 43 years, Susan; children, LoDawn (Daniel) Young and Cory Radel; two grandchildren, Kylie Young and Chase Young; brothers and sisters, Mark (Mary) Radel, Kevin (Nora) Radel, Curt (Sheri) Radel, Aleta Rasmussen, Kelly (Pat) Radel, Pam Wessel, Beth Stehouwer, and Todd Radel; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hector and Dawn. A Celebration of Bron’s Life will be held from 4-7PM on Tuesday, November 23 in The Lee Chapel Family Center of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444.
