Bruce A. Peterson's Obituary
Bruce Allen Peterson, age 63, passed away in Muskegon, MI, on October 16, 2024. Bruce was born on July 13, 1961, to Elvin and Pauline (Lutz) Peterson, and he graduated from Fruitport High School. He worked for many years as a truck driver and spent the last years of his career working for Haworth. He married the former Tammy Bullis on December 28, 2004, and the two of them spent many happy years together until she preceded him in 2022. Bruce and Tammy spent many wonderful years truck driving together and riding their Harley Davidsons. In his younger years he greatly enjoyed deer hunting with his father. He had a great sense of humor and was highly reliable, always willing to help where he was needed.
Bruce is preceded in death by his wife, Tammy; his parents, Elvin and Pauline Peterson; and his brother, Brad Peterson. He is survived by his close friend, Rick Carpenter, as well as many others.
VISITATION will be held at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI, 49444, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, as well as from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. A GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held at Fruitport Pine Hill Cemetery at 12:30 PM on Wednesday, October 23, 2024.
