My sympathy to the Ulfsax family and in particular "Cassette" and "CD", grandchildren with him at this years Fantasy Camp. Coach Ike Blessitt affectionately called Bruce,"8 track" and when Ike saw the grandchildren he said there's "cassette" and "CD". Ike kidded 8 track about them driving through the "hood" and seeing the "brothers" in his Cadillac leaning to the side driving one-handed and looking cool. 8 track loved the teasing.
Bruce and I were on Dan Petry and Ike Blessitt's team. Bruce was on deck when I batted. If I didn't get a hit I knew I'd be on base because I was one of Bruce's pinch runner. The preceding out became the next batter's pinch runner. I will always remember Bruce for getting me on base.
I learned of Bruce's free agency at the fantasy camp's tailgate party Opening Day at Comerica Park.
I suspect that Bruce in the Eternal League is now talking with the Tigers' greats as he was of them. They know why the Tigers are 0-5 but I'm sure they're as perplexed as we are.
I would like to see "cassette" and "CD"

The sports world has lost a great player but my memories of Bruce lean more toward the pink tu-tu he wore at one of the Muskegon MESC retirement parties. Dear Ulfsax Family, I am so sorry about the loss a truly devoted Father,Grandfather,Husband and friend to many.
