Bruce F. Peck, Sr's Obituary
Mr. Bruce F. Peck, Sr. age 77, passed away Monday, October 25, 2004 in Muskegon. He was born on August 23, 1927 to Wilbur and Ina (Smith) Peck and had resided in the Muskegon area all of his life. Mr. Peck was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, and was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during World War II. He had worked for North American Van Lines for 30 years, prior to his retirement in 1993. On May 8, 1948, he married the former Betty J. Carey, and she survives him along with 7 children, Susan (Thomas) Waggoner of Muskegon, Bruce F. (Nancy) Peck II of Frankfurt, IL, Gregory (Ann) Peck of Portage, MI, Michelle (Michael) McNabnay of Stevensville, MI, Debra Peck of Muskegon, Todd (Martha) Peck of Mason, OH, and Amy Peck of Kalamazoo, MI; 14 grandchildren, Donald (Angel) Waggoner, Daniel Waggoner, Kara Waggoner, Kristin Waggoner, Eric Peck, Denise Peck, Allison Peck, Phillip (Katie) McNabnay, Jill McNabnay, Kevin Peck, Jennifer Peck, Nathan Peck, Andrew Peck, and Benjamin Peck; 3 great-grandchildren, twin sister, Elaine (Clarence) Doctor of Hesperia and Florida; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Peck was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister, Lorraine Peck and 2 brothers, Elroy and Donald Peck. SERVICES will be 2:00 PM Thursday at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with Revs. Robert J. Conradt and Toshio Okamoto officiating. VISITATION will be 2-4 & 6-8 PM Wednesday at Sytsema Funeral Home, 737 Apple Avenue, Muskegon, MI 49442 (231-726-5210). Burial will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. MEMORIAL contributions to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church or Hospice of Muskegon-Oceana would be appreciated.
