Bryan L. McClain's Obituary
Bryan L. McClain, age 76, passed away Friday, October 15, 2021. He was born on November 3, 1944 in Ravenna, MI to Willis and Barbara (Anderson) McClain and resided in the West Michigan area all of his life. Bryan was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He worked 42 years at Shaw-Walker before retiring in 2005. Bryan was a member of Christian Life Center, and part of the McClain Family Singing Group for over 40 years. He enjoyed golfing, landscape and painting, but his family always came first. On June 29, 1963, he married the former Rose Doan and together celebrated 58 years of marriage. SURVIVORS include his wife, Rose; two children, Scott (Janine) McClain and Ginger (Chris Childers) McClain; five grandchildren, Jenna (Jason), Kasee (Lonnie), Amber (Wayne), Bryan (Kryssy) and Zachary; 8 great grandchildren; 7 brothers, Curtiss (Judy) McClain, Victor (Jane) McClain, Lorren (Tamara) McClain, Phillip (Michelle) McClain, Brent (Ruth) McClain, Bruce (Jackie) McClain, Weldon McClain; 4 sisters, Chrystal Wilson, Audrey (Hank) Hendrickson, Sherril (Thomas) French, and Ester (Charles) Luckett; sister-in-law, Shirley McClain; and many nieces and nephews. Bryan was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Conrad “Sonny” McClain, and Mark McClain. GRAVESIDE SERVICES will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Sunrise Memorial Gardens (2188 Remembrance Dr. Muskegon, MI 49442). MEMORIAL SERVICES for Bryan will be 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Christian Life Center Church (16765 W. Fruitport Rd. Spring Lake, MI 49456).
