Bryan Clair Loyselle's Obituary
Mr. Bryan Clair Loyselle, age 52, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2009. Bryan was born June 25, 1957 to Clair H. and Darlene Esther (VerMeulen) Loyselle in Muskegon where he resided all his life. Bryan was employed as a research and development associate at Eagle Ottawa Leather for 14 years. He was currently employed at Keystone LLC. He enjoyed electrical and automotive work and spent time as an over-the-road trucker. He was an avid collector of knives and enjoyed snowmobiling. On July 11, 1987 he married Mary “Cookie” Bower and she survives him along with 2 sons, Daniel Douthwaite and Nicholas (Jennifer Tjapkes) Douthwaite of Muskegon; 3 grandchildren, Hailey, Nicholas and Olivia; his father, Clair (Mae Ruth) Loyselle of Kaleva, MI; 1 brother, Barry Loyselle of Muskegon; 2 sisters, Lisa (James) Denhof and Tammy Jepersen, both of Muskegon; mother-in-law, Joy Bower; 4 brothers-in-law; 2 sisters-in-law; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Bryan was preceded in death by his mother, Darlene, on January 8, 1996 and his father-in-law, Thomas Bower. SERVICES for Bryan will be 11:00 AM Thursday, October 1, 2009 at Calvary Memorial Church, 909 W. Giles Rd. with Rev. Jeffrey Dunn and Pastor Dave Taylor co-officiating. Interment will take place in Twin Lake Cemetery. VISITATION with the family will be 6-8 PM Wednesday at The Sytsema Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Avenue 231 726-5210.
