Burnace M. Westra's Obituary
Mrs. Burnace May Westra, age 80, went to be with her Lord on Thursday evening, July 5, 2012, while surrounded by her family. She was born October 29, 1931 in Grand Rapids, MI to Henry and Marie (Grashuis) Prince; and had resided in the Muskegon area since 1956. “Burnie” attended Forest Park Covenant Church and for many years attended Maranatha Bible Conference during the summer. She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Westra; sister, Agnes Felix and brother, Raymond Prince. SURVIVORS include her husband, Donald; 3 sons, James Westra of Muskegon, Timothy (Cindy) Westra of Spring Lake and Daniel (Kayley) Westra of Seattle, WA.; daughter-in-law, Shirley Westra of Muskegon; 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Sack of Grand Rapids, and brother, Russell (Dorothy) Prince of Grand Rapids. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Friday, July 27, 2012 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey Street, Norton Shores, MI 49444; 231-798-1100 with Pastor Ronald Mansdoerfer officiating. VISITATION with Burnie’s family will be 10-11:00 AM prior to the service. MEMORIAL GIFTS to Mercy VNS and Hospice Services will be appreciated.
