Mrs. Buryll J. Playter's Obituary
Mrs. Buryll Jane Playter, age 92, and wife of William, stepped into the Promise Land Wednesday evening, February 18, 2015. She leaves behind her husband of 73 years, William; two daughters, Carol (Craig) Bond of Twin Lake and Linda (Les) Woodland of Racine, WI; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; three favorite nieces, Janis (Jim) Ward of Muskegon, Judy (Dan) Hubler of Crystal, MI and Paula (Cliff) Hutson of Rothbury. Buryll worked at Sealed Power Corporation for many years prior to retiring from S.D. Warren (Sappi). After having breast cancer at fifty five, Buryll started collecting dolls. This helped her heal along with prayer and God’s intervention. She was preceded in death by her son, William George Playter; six brothers; two sisters; and a host of friends. There will be a Memorial Gathering on Mother’s Day weekend, Saturday, May 9, 2015, from 1-4 PM at the home of Craig and Carol Bond in Twin Lake. MEMORIALS to Harbor Hospice of Muskegon will be appreciated.
