Camilla Marie Lapomarda's Obituary
Mrs. Camilla Marie Lapomarda, age 83, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at Seville Residence in Grand Haven. She was born April 19, 1921 in Westbrook, ME to Albert and Alma (Caron) Trepanier and lived in the Muskegon area most of her life. On October 27, 1945, she married Joseph P. Lapomarda in Westbrook and he preceded her in death on July 30, 2002. She worked over 30 years at the S.D. Warren Papermill and retired in 1984. She was a member of St. Francis deSales Catholic Church and was active with the Papermill Retirees Group. SURVIVORS include her daughter, Rosemarie Flynn of Montague; 6 grandchildren, Jessica (Roy) Holden, Vicki (Greg) Tolan, Nicole (Tim) Kolberg, Amanda Flynn, JJ (Amber) Flynn, Justin (Janelle) Flynn; 5 great-grandchildren, Monica, Joshua, Haley, Emma, Avery; 3 sisters, Ruth Lacroix, Jackie King, Monita (Walt) Desruiseau; and special friend, Shirley Sidock. She was also preceded in death by her son and his wife, Larry and Carole Lapomarda in 2004, and her son-in-law, John Flynn II. THE FUNERAL LITURGY will be celebrated 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 22, 2005, in Marian Chapel of St. Francis deSales Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Thomas G. Simons presiding. ENTOMBMENT will take place at St. Mary’s Mausoleum. VISITATION with Camilla’s family will be 6-9 PM Monday at The Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., (231) 759-8565. The Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 PM Monday evening. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Lung Association.
