Ms. Camille B. Coburn's Obituary
Camille B. Coburn, age 84, passed away on Sunday December 20, 2015. Camille was born on October 23, 1931 to Alton and Charlotte Forward. She was blessed with 3 daughters in her life and loved them all dearly. Camille was an active woman through her entire life. She enjoyed bowling, riding her bike, ceramics, going to the movies, and traveling. The biggest joy in her life was always her family. She was a strong-willed, active, caring woman who will be deeply, deeply missed. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Wendy (Tom) Barnett, Paula (Tom) Miller, and Cindy Harris; 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; brothers, John (LaMyrna) Loss, and Ted (Lynn) Forward; 2 sisters, Eva Jean Jensen; and Fay Francis Van Dyke; several nieces and nephews; and her special friend, Fanny Smith. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Howard Sherwood; parents; step-mother, Dorothy Forward; brothers, Jack Forward and Ronald “Cork” Forward; sisters, Lois Loss, Mae Blossom VanderVelde, Lucille Knapp, and Geraldine Fox; great-great-granddaughter, Luna Madelin; and son-in-law, Edward Harris. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 11am at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210. VISITATION will be held on Tuesday from 5-7 at the funeral home. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Lake Woods Nursing Facility for all of their care for Camille.
