Carl Vernon Cole's Obituary
Carl Vernon Cole age 80, of Ravenna, MI died Friday, November 13, 2020 at Mercy General Health â€" Mercy Campus.
Carl was born on April 4, 1940 to the late Vernon C. and Myrtle (Russell) Cole. He married Rose Marie (Castenholz) Cole on October 2, 1959 in Ravenna, MI. She preceded him in death on January 22, 2019.
Carl is survived by 1 Son, Carl (Debi) Cole of Waukesha, WI; 1 Daughter, Amy (Norman) Race of Ravenna; 3 Brothers: Lyle (Linda) Cole of Green Bay, WI, Laurin (Jan) Cole of Iowa, and David Cole of Ravenna; 3 Sisters: Eilene Spink of Oconto, WI, Joyce Bates of Whitehall, and June Dean of Montague; 11 Grandchildren; 17 Great-Grandchildren; Many nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his parents and wife, Rose, Carl was preceded in death by Daughter, Pam Taylor and Brother Lloyd.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 11:00am at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna with Pastor Don VanSlyke officiating. Burial will be in Seaman Cemetery.
The family will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00pm to receive friends and again on Thursday from 10:00am until time of service.
Memorials may be directed to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
