Carl Lee Hogan's Obituary
Carl Lee Hogan age 71, of Ravenna died, Saturday, January 21, 2012 at home surrounded by his family.
Carl was born on August 1, 1940 in Moorland Township, Michigan to the late Lawrence and Ida (Frantz) Hogan.
He served in the United States Army. He married Maureen K. (Johnson) Hogan on August 17, 1963 in Ravenna, Michigan.
Carl is survived by his wife of 48 years: Maureen Hogan of Ravenna. 2 Sons: Jim (Amy) Hogan and Michael (Michelle) Hogan both of Ravenna. 6 Grandchildren. 1 Brother: Robert (Shirley) Hogan of Ravenna. 3 Sisters: Barbara O’Brien, Beatrice Lobdell and Artis (A.J.) Wilke all of Muskegon. 1 Brother in-law: Harold Hoefling of Muskegon. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Carl was preceded in death in addition to his parents by 1 Brother: Lawrence “Jack†Hogan, 4 Sisters: Mildred, Helen, Lorraine and Aleta “Tinkâ€.
Funeral services for Carl will be conducted on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at 11:00am at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna with Pastor Steve VanderWoude officiating. Burial will be in Moorland Township Cemetery.
The family will be at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00pm to receive friends and on Wednesday 1 hour prior to service.
