Carl A. Jawor's Obituary
Mr. Carl A. Jawor, age 87, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at his home. He was born on April 30, 1929 to John and Monika Jawor and has resided in the Muskegon area most of his life. Carl served his country in the U.S. Army. Prior to farming, Carl worked at Kaydon and Continental Motors. Carl started Jawor Brothers Blueberries in 1962 and had a passion for farming. He was a hardworking man, but also enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He married Mildred E. “Millie” Latsch in Richmond, VA and she preceded him in death in 2008. SURVIVORS include 4 children, Michael (Kathy) Jawor of Muskegon, Annette (Tom) White of Canadian Lakes, Jeffrey (Sherrie) Jawor and Carl Jawor, Jr. both of Ravenna; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and sister, Helen McKibbon. Carl was also preceded in death by his son, Phillip Jawor; daughter, Deborah Jawor; brothers, Ted, Walt, Vitald; sisters, Rose, Jenny and Irene. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be 11:00 AM Friday, August 19, 2016 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100 with Pastor Mike Wetzig officiating. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in Egelston Twp. Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Harbor Hospice will be appreciated.
