Of the many meetings I attended with Carl, I was always happy to see him in attendance. I knew he would bring a positive energy and expertise that would make whatever issues we were addressing easier to deal with and more likely to be a helpful outcome because he was there. When I think of the hundreds of people he has helped, it warms my heart to think of his legacy of service to others and hearts he has warmed.
