Carl H. "Bubba" Payne's Obituary
Mr. Carl H. Payne, age 72, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2009. He was born January 28, 1937 in Memphis, TN to Charles and Sybil (Rogers) Payne, Sr. Mr. Payne was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and worked for Kaydon Corporation for 30 years before retiring in 1997. He was also a member of the Polish Union. On March 31, 2001 he married the former Lela M. Bottoms in Muskegon and she survives him along with 3 daughters, Cindy (Charles) MacLean, Tanya Dunlap, Brenda (Nathan) Aerts; 5 grandchildren; brother, Charles (Mary) Payne, Jr.; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Burt and Donna Apple, Troy and Liz Gardener. A CELEBRATION OF CARL’S LIFE will be held Saturday starting at 1:00 PM at the Polish Union Lodge (1890 Henry St.).
