Carl J. Jensen's Obituary
Mr. Carl J. Jensen, age 78, died early Friday morning, September 9, 2005. He was born July 15, 1927 in Muskegon to Carl A. Jensen & Jennie (‘nee West) Muscato and had been a life resident of the area. Carl had been employed as an electrician for Sears prior to his retirement in 1990; and was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps. On November 27, 1948 he married the former Thelma Davis and she survives him along with 3 children, Donald (Sandy) Jensen, Donna (Jensen) Davis and Gary (Pam) Jensen; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and 1 sister, Shirley Peterman. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Colleen Abby. SERVICES will be 1PM Tuesday at
Sytsema Funeral Home 737 Apple Avenue 231-726-5210 with Pastor Ben Jansen officiating. Burial will be in East Dalton-Oakhill Cemetery. VISITATION with Carl’s family will be 2-4 & 6-8 PM Monday. MEMORIAL GIFTS to Hospice of Muskegon – Oceana will be appreciated.
