Carlota G. Anguiano's Obituary
Mrs. Carlota G. Anguiano, age 99, passed away Friday morning, June 18, 2010. She was born November 4, 1910 in Crown, Texas to Manuel and Amalia (Regalado) Garcia. Mrs. Anguiano was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Muskegon for many years and had attended St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Grand Haven for the past 19 years. She was a member of the Latin American Club, enjoyed sewing and gardening, but most of all, she enjoyed her family and friends. On August 10, 1933 she married Benjamin R. Anguiano in Corpus Christi, TX and he preceded her in death on September 28, 1991. SURVIVORS include 2 daughters, Maria O. (Peter) Jansons of Comstock Park, Rita (Charles) Green of Norton Shores; 9 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; 2 sons, Erasmo and Benjamin Anguiano, Jr.; and 3 sisters. THE FUNERAL LITURGY will be celebrated 10:00 AM Tuesday at St. Mary’s of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Matthew J. Barnum presiding. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Muskegon. VISITATION with the family will be from 6-8 PM Monday at The Sytsema Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. (231) 726-5210 with the Rosary prayed at 6:00 PM. MEMORIALS to the St. Mary’s Catholic Church Restoration Fund will be appreciated.
