Carol Ann Cousin's Obituary
The Lord called Carol (Barber) Cousin home on December 8, 2022. Carol was born on March 9, 1943 in Muskegon, MI. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Anyone who met her immediately loved her. She embodied a woman of grace, poise and a ton of fun! She dedicated most of her life to the businesses she and her husband owned, Matco/Seabrook Plastics. She never failed to show her love for all of her family and friends. Her winters in Florida at the Red Coconut RV Park, especially her time with the “Fab 4,” as well as her summers on Torch Lake were very special to her. She always had that special spark and personality, even up to her last moments (still yelling at her dog to “shut up” or “get down”). If you know Cooper, you know… he’s loud. While her time on earth has ended, her spirit will always remain with us and her love will always be felt.
Carol is survived by her beloved husband, Serge Cousin. She is survived by her children Teresa (David) Wroble and Joe Wertenberg. She also has five grandchildren who will miss their “Moe” dearly, Nicholas Wroble, Abigail Wroble, Lydia Wertenberg, Hillary Wertenberg, and Jack Wertenberg; her siblings, Carl Barber, Laura (Patrick) Pontius, Mike (Judi) Delis, and John Delis. Along with many nieces and nephews who loved her. Carol was dearly loved and will be sadly missed by all those who know her.
Carol played a special role in so many lives and we would like to celebrate the impact she had on each and every person who had the privilege of knowing her. She will live on through all the many lives she touched. According to Carol’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a CELEBRATION OF HER LIFE will be held at a later date.
